These were so easy to make. I followed the recipe substituting Plant-Based Whole Blend IsaLean Rich Chocolate Shake for the IsaPro Chocolate and added 2 things, 1 cup of shredded coconut and 1/4 cup sprinkles which I sifted from IsaLean Birthday Cake Shake. I love those sprinkles as they are made up of nutrients and minerals vs a bunch of sugar and colour dies.
Next time I will use a small spoon to scoop out a palms worth and make them a bit smaller. The big spoon made them more like 3 bites and they can be a bit dry. Smaller would be better on one bite or two and not as dry in the after taste.
Made them for a road trip with my daughter and she absolutely loved them. Traveled perfectly in the cooler.

This morning, I whipped up some irresistibly tasty Honey Peanut Butter Protein Balls. Their allure is undeniable, reminiscent of the adage, "I dare you to stop at just one."
To maintain a leaner profile, I opted for 1/2 cup of PB&Me in lieu of traditional peanut butter. This rendered the mix a tad on the drier side, but a drizzle of 4 tablespoons of maple syrup effortlessly restored its perfect consistency. Indulgence meets health in every bite!
Honey, nature's liquid gold, has a storied history that dates back over 8,000 years. Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs showcase honey's significance, not just as a sweetener, but also in embalming the dead, brewing beverages, and offering to their gods. In ancient Greece, it was believed that honey was the food of the Olympian gods, granting them immortality.
But honey isn't just celebrated in mythology; its medicinal benefits have been revered for centuries. The antibacterial properties of honey were no secret to ancient civilizations. They used it to treat wounds, digestive issues, and even skin problems. Fast forward to today, and many still swear by honey as a natural remedy for coughs and sore throats.
Peanut Butter: More Than Just a Spread
Peanuts, originally native to South America, were domesticated thousands of years ago. However, it wasn't until the 19th century that peanut butter, as we know it, came into existence. While many believe George Washington Carver was the father of peanut butter, its invention predates his innovative work with peanuts. In reality, the spreadable treat can be traced back to the Aztecs, who ground roasted peanuts into a paste.
The modern, creamy version of peanut butter was showcased at the St. Louis World’s Fair in 1904. Its popularity surged during the World Wars when it became a protein staple for American soldiers. Today, peanut butter is celebrated globally, making appearances in diverse cuisines, from spicy Thai dishes to delectable desserts.

A Powerful Union: When Honey Meets Peanut Butter
When honey, with its natural sweetness, meets the creamy richness of peanut butter, magic happens. This combination isn't just about taste; it's a nutritional powerhouse. Honey provides quick energy, while peanut butter, rich in proteins and good fats, ensures this energy is sustained. This duo aids in muscle repair and provides long-lasting energy, making it a favorite among athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
Protein is crucial for muscle building, repair, and overall growth. Protein powders, a modern-day dietary staple, make it easier for individuals, especially athletes, to meet their daily protein requirements. So, what happens when this nutritional supplement is combined with the classic honey and peanut butter duo?
Firstly, the taste is amplified. While protein powders come in various flavors, from chocolate to vanilla, combining them with honey and peanut butter results in a creamy, naturally sweet, and fulfilling taste.
But more importantly, the nutritional profile skyrockets. With honey's natural sugars, it provides an immediate energy kick, which is essential post-workout. Peanut butter, being rich in healthy fats and protein, ensures sustained energy. Adding protein powder supercharges this mix, ensuring maximum muscle recovery and growth.
